THE CELLAR

Welcome to our restaurant, a place steeped in history and tradition that offers a unique culinary experience in the heart of Negrar. Located inside the ancient rooms of the municipality's first cooperative winery, the Cantina Quintarelli, dating back to the late 1800s, our restaurant invites you to discover the history and flavor of Valpolicella in a unique environment.

The history of this place is fascinating. Originally, the ground floor housed the wine processing and fermentation processes, with barrels of different materials and sizes intended for different wine products. The upper floors of the palace were dedicated to the breeding and processing of silkworms. After being used by the Quintarelli family and subsequently rented to an agricultural company on Lake Garda, the Quintarelli winery definitively returned to our possession in the 1980s.

In the first decade of the 2000s, we obtained authorization for the change of use, transforming this extraordinary place into the current main restaurant of the hotel. This was an ambitious and challenging project, with a focus on the recovery and restoration of the original structures, integrating targeted interventions. The furniture was largely custom made by ourselves, including the tables made from a mahogany plant which we skillfully worked to create unique and fascinating pieces.

The restaurant is divided into 5 rooms of different sizes, in addition to the Wine Cellar, ideal for tasting our magnificent wines. Each room has its own atmosphere and unique characteristics. The Bar Room, with a large map of Valpolicella, is perfect for hosting up to 70 people. The Nonno Room, the largest in the restaurant, with an exposed brick wall, can accommodate around 140 people and is ideal for meetings and events. The Verona Room offers around 50 seats, while the Multipurpose Room is perfect for meetings, parties or after dinner and is accessible directly from the outside. The Sala Pietra di Prun, with a suggestive false ceiling in local stone, can accommodate around 60 people and is directly connected to the Sala Privet, ideal for individual customers and small groups.

Overall, our restaurant can accommodate around 350 people, always guaranteeing a welcoming and confusion-free atmosphere, thanks to the different rooms and flexible solutions that we put at your disposal. Whether you wish to enjoy an unforgettable romantic dinner, organize a business meeting or celebrate a special occasion, our restaurant offers the perfect setting to meet all your needs. We are waiting for you to share with you the historical and culinary beauty of Valpolicella.
